Willkommen bei der Initiative für mehr Sicherheit auf PokerStars!
Wir wollen mit dieser Initiative hier versuchen möglichst viele Leute, die auf Stars spielen und sich Sorgen um die Sicherheit ihrer Kohle machen, dazu auffordern die beigelegte Standardmail an PokerStars zu versenden und so mehr Sicherheit auf Stars zu verlangen.
Nach den letzten Fällen von Account Hacking sollte sich wirklich jeder Gedanken über die Sicherheit seines Systems und auch über die Sicherheitsstandards der Seite selbst machen und handeln! Wenn nun jeder mal irgendwann eine Mail schreibt juckt das Stars allerdings herzlich wenig, deshalb hier der Aufruf an alle(!) Stars Spieler diese Mail möglichst zeitnah an den Stars support zu schicken um denen mal das unzufriedene Spielerpotential und auch Finanzvolumen vor Augen zu führen, das für sie auf dem Spiel steht. Gemeinsam erreichen wir sicherlich mehr!

Dear Poker Stars Support Team,
As a Poker Stars user I am really worried concerning the last cases of Account Hacking on your poker site. Apart from the security options and standards every single user should apply to his own computer system, like spyscanners, virus detecting software, firewalls, secure passwords etc., there is in my opinion a huge range of possibilities to improve the security in general.
Like a lot of users I would really appreciate an improvement of your security standards and would like to propose the following features to guarantee a maximum of security on your site:
-optional restriction for users to log in their account only from their home country (security check/phone call if settings are changed) as offered e.g. by Betfair
-optional restrictions for certain limits to avoid chip dumping (security check/phone call if settings are changed)
-when changing the email address, there should be a security check including a phone call/a text message to the users cell to confirm the changes made to the account settings as offered e.g. by Titan Poker
-an optional TAN system for cashouts should be introduced in order to enter a specific TAN number when the user wants to withdraw funds from his account. These lists should be sent before by mail, so no other person could know these security numbers. Concerning the costs: I think most of the users would agree to a fee demanded by Poker Stars for providing these TAN lists on an optional basis
- introducing a new screenname that differs from the accountname would be also an improvement of your security standards as offered e.g. by Betfair, Everest, Ipoker, PKR
-optional security key, like e.g. used by PayPal (https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr…rityKey-outside )
I also would like to ask for the Security ID provided by Stars for my account, because I don’t have one yet. (wer schon eine hat, schneidet es raus)
I hope you take my enquiry serious and start acting! Because of the last cases of account hacking I am really worried about my money on Poker Stars and would think about leaving my favorite poker site in order to maximize my security options if there won´t be any changes in the near future.
